This is a working draft, not a finished legal document. Written to accurately describe StreamHawk's current functionality as groundwork before a real public launch — not reviewed by a solicitor yet. Get proper legal review before relying on it for users beyond early testing.

What StreamHawk is

StreamHawk is a tool for streamers: it finds the highlight moments in your own streams, turns them into short clips you can edit, and schedules and posts them to your social accounts. It's operated by Kieran Hearne, based in the UK.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use StreamHawk, and must meet the age requirements of any platform you connect (Kick, Google, Facebook, Twitch may set their own higher minimums).
You're responsible for the content you choose to post through StreamHawk — we're a posting/automation tool, not a publisher, and don't review content before you approve it for posting.
You create an account by signing in with Kick (Google, Facebook and Twitch sign-in are coming). Connecting other platforms later is optional.

Connecting other platforms

When you connect a platform (e.g. Facebook Page, Google Drive, Discord webhook), you're granting StreamHawk permission to act on your behalf within the scope you approved during that platform's own consent screen — for example, posting a video you've approved, or reading which folder your reels are in. You can disconnect any platform at any time from your account settings; doing so stops StreamHawk acting on it going forward.

Plans, billing and renewal

StreamHawk has a free plan and paid monthly plans (currently Starter £9.99, Pro £14.99 and Streamer+ £19.99 a month). Each plan includes a number of hours of stream processing per month, shown on the pricing page; unused hours don't carry over.
Paid plans renew automatically. You're charged when you subscribe and again on the same day each month, at your plan's current price, until you cancel.
Cancel any time from Billing in your dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your paid plan until the end of the month you've already paid for, then move to the free plan. We don't refund part-used months, except as below or where the law requires it.
14-day right to cancel. If you're a consumer in the UK, you can cancel a new subscription within 14 days of first subscribing. Email hello@streamhawk.co.uk within that time and we'll refund that first payment in full.
If we change a plan's price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, so you can cancel first if you'd rather not continue.
Payments are processed by Stripe. StreamHawk never sees or stores your full card details.

Your content and copyright

You must own, or have permission to use, everything you upload or post through StreamHawk — your streams, and any graphics, logos, sounds or video you add.

If you believe something stored or posted through StreamHawk infringes your copyright, email hello@streamhawk.co.uk with: the work you believe is infringed; where the infringing content is (a link, or enough detail for us to find it); your name and contact details; and a statement that you own the work or are authorised to act for the owner, and believe in good faith the use isn't authorised. We'll review every notice promptly, remove content that infringes, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly infringe.

Acceptable use

Don't use StreamHawk to post content that violates the terms of the platform you're posting to, infringes someone else's rights, or is illegal. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that misuse the service.

Service availability

StreamHawk is provided on an "as available" basis. Features that depend on third-party platforms (Kick, Meta, Google, Discord, etc.) can be affected by outages or changes on those platforms that are outside our control.

No warranty

StreamHawk is provided without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We're not liable for content that fails to post, auto-clipper results that don't match your expectations, or issues caused by a connected third-party platform's own downtime or policy changes.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will update the version date above; continuing to use StreamHawk after a change means you accept the updated terms.
